Appold joins Parity Technologies and Zodia Custody to announce a new partnership at Token2049 Singapore

Today Parity Technologies and Zodia Custody announced a new partnership to strengthen institutional access to the Polkadot (DOT) ecosystem. As an advisor to the collaboration, Robert Gaskell represented Appold at the announcement during the Token2049 conference week in Singapore.

The partnership’s first major implementation will see Zodia Custody provide custody services for the Polkadot ecosystem, enabling secure market access and bank-grade digital asset custody services for financial institutions. The next stage of the partnership will enable financial institutions to stake DOT, the native token of Polkadot, whilst assets are held safely in cold storage within Zodia Custody.

Long term, this partnership will also broaden institutional adoption of the Polkadot ecosystem via joint research and development initiatives.
